my thoughts: I loved this fic just bc there were so many nice wholesome moments of inventive caretaking on Dean's part. Aromatherapy, heat packs, back rubs, aww. Dean 's the best brother ever.

What is not Forgotten by authoressjean. Rated G, Gen, 2k words. Summary: "But the one thing that Sam had forgotten above all else was that when a migraine struck, he wasn 't going to have a bed to retreat to or an easy way to reach a cool cloth." Some things come back slow, when you haven't been on the road with your brother in a few years. And some things are never really forgotten.

my thoughts: best angst ever. this story covers a lot of things, the standout being Sam 's departure to go to Stanford (and subsequent estrangement from Dean) and how upset it really made him. This fic is also a combo of a couple of my favorite fic tropes/themes/whatever: post Faith, and migraine h/c. Really well-written with a shmoopy loving climax of teary hugs and cuddles (my favorite!)
